TIKVA’S APPROACH

TIKVA embodies a belief in abundant life, acceptance, and the opportunity for service in a global family underpinned by faith.

In every step, our mission is guided by a profound commitment to serve with love, to build enduring connections, and to pave the way for a brighter future for those we have the privilege to walk alongside. Your support, prayers, and involvement are the lifeblood of this mission, as we continue to trust in divine guidance to light our path.

GIVEPRAY

Connection & Invitation

Our journey begins by meeting individuals right where they are, often in places of great challenge and despair. With open hearts, we foster genuine relationships, share the good news, and warmly invite them to join us. This step is foundational, laying the groundwork for trust and acceptance.

Nourishment and Community Building

As our journey together continues, we address the fundamental need for sustenance by providing meals. This act of service is more than just feeding the body; it's about enriching the soul, offering spiritual nourishment, and engaging in activities specifically designed for women and children. The most beautiful outcome of this step is the sense of community it fosters, creating a supportive and loving environment for growth.

Empowerment through Training

The next pivotal phase is focused on training and capacity building. This crucial step is where true transformation begins, empowering individuals with skills, knowledge, and the confidence to build a better future.

Temporary Housing **Coming Soon**

This envisioned milestone between the second and third steps would significantly enhance our support system, providing a safe haven for approximately 15 mothers and their children. It’s a dream fueled by love and the belief in making a substantial difference in their lives, pending the generous provision of necessary funds (~$2,000 per month) for rental and operational costs. As we currently navigate this path without the housing component, we do our utmost to connect those in need with city resources and housing solutions.

With divine grace, we've reached out for additional support through grant applications that could enable us to secure a residence and hire a dedicated house supervisor. Our hearts are hopeful, as we await a positive response by July, trusting in the Lord’s timing and provision.
