From her early days in New York and San Francisco to her impactful work in Medellin, Colombia, Rebekah Slick's mission of transforming vulnerable lives through hope has taken her across the globe. Her commitment to helping others was fueled by her diverse upbringing and a critical moment of dedication to Jesus in 1999 at Times Square Church.

Academic and Spiritual Foundation

Earning a Masters in Divinity in December 2008 from Gateway Seminary was a stepping stone for Rebekah in deepening her understanding of her faith and her calling to serve. Her tireless efforts have benefited communities in Harlem, NY, Alabama, San Francisco, Africa, and Medellin, focusing on aiding women, children, and those on the margins of society.

Founding TIKVA Ministries

The creation of TIKVA Ministries during the COVID pandemic marked a significant phase in Rebekah's journey, initiating vital programs aimed at feeding, community support, and spiritual growth starting in February 2024. With ambitious plans for future training and housing initiatives, TIKVA represents hope and growth.

Personal Faith and Ministry

The foundation of Rebekah Slick's ministry and the essence of TIKVA lie in her personal narrative of faith and challenge, including her pursuit of a Doctorate of Intercultural Studies and her experience as a single mother. Her life and work embody the hope and transformative power of Jesus, with her daughter, Isabella Grace, symbolizing the joy at the heart of her ministry.
